Technical characteristics of the installation
Purchased technical parameters
The equipment purchased through the project is of high technological performance. The capacitor bank has a measured capacity of 6.4 microfarads. The nominal working voltage of the bank is 12 kV. The reactive power reaches 290 kVAR at a frequency of 50 Hz.
The system includes reliable 50 kV voltage dividers on 4 V. We have installed modern disconnectors equipped with very safe operating devices. These include solid 72.5 kV main and grounding contacts. The maximum current supported by these disconnectors is 1250 A.
The capacities of the equipped laboratory
The new laboratory is fully equipped to perform very complex tests. The circuit breaker testing facility reaches extremely high maximum industrial parameters. The working voltage in test mode is 36 kV. The assured test current reaches up to 400 A at 50 Hz. This infrastructure guarantees a correct validation of the devices.

Quality of services and work procedures
Performance and expertise
The performance indicators of the installation demonstrate a particularly high capacity. We perform safe tests daily at voltages of 12, 24 and 36 kV. The rigorously measured currents vary in the range of 10 to 400 amperes. The personnel involved are highly qualified in high-power tests. We have decades of practical experience in diagnosis and solution development.
Compliance with current standards
Our internal procedures strictly comply with the famous international standard CEI 60271-100/2006. This clearly regulates the tests for all circuit breakers on the market. We additionally use the technical standard CEI 60265/2003 for the verification of disconnectors. We apply precise procedures within the High Power Division (PT-03.01). We have a complete, updated and very rigorously structured Quality Manual.
Beneficiary network and contact details
Top industrial partnerships
Our impressive network of beneficiaries includes numerous renowned partners in the industry. We collaborate excellently with Electroputere Craiova, Electro Alfa Botosani and ICP Bucharest. We have joint projects with Eximprod Buzau, Energobit Cluj and Romind Bucharest. We work intensively with international manufacturers such as Areva, Schneider, Batel or Efatec. We offer essential services to SC Electrica and the national company Transelectrica.
Accessibility and useful contacts
Third party access to the laboratory is based on firm contracts. The conditions are clearly established according to the requests for quotation received daily. Prices are always negotiated fairly depending on the difficulty of the requested tests.
