The New SAR Dosimetry Laboratory – ICMET Craiova

National Institute for Research, Development and Testing for Electrotechnics – ICMET Craiova inaugurated a new SAR (Specific Absorption Rate) Dosimetry Laboratory, dedicated to measuring electromagnetic radiation and assessing human exposure to electromagnetic fields generated by electronic and communications equipment.

The SAR laboratory completes the portfolio of measurement and testing capabilities of ICMET Craiova, contributing to the safety of users of electronic devices and to the compliance of products with European standards regarding exposure limits to electromagnetic fields (EMF).
