ICMET Craiova participation at the European exhibition EUROINVENT 2017
Our institute participated in the ninth edition of EUROINVENT. This is a European exhibition dedicated to creativity and innovation. The event took place in the city of Iasi, Romania. The period was between May 25 and 27, 2017. ICMET Craiova presented a record number of technical inventions. The international jury carefully analyzed each proposed project. The results obtained in Iasi are truly impressive for us. Our record includes gold, silver and bronze awards. Scientific innovation remains the main engine of our institute's development. Our researchers propose practical solutions to current industrial problems. We invite you to discover the details of these achievements in the list below.

Participation in EUROINVENT 2017 confirmed the top position of Craiova's research. The awarded fields cover a wide range of high voltage applications. Cooling devices and broadband transformers are exceptional results. They solve critical problems in the national and European energy system. Also, control systems for electric drives bring added efficiency. We support the recovery of braking energy in complex industrial processes. The medium voltage equipment developed by us offers increased safety. The use of aluminum with special contacts reduces production costs. Remote monitoring of electrical appliances is the future of smart grids. We constantly invest in human capital and in the equipment of ICMET laboratories. Thank you for the constant support of our academic and technical performance.
