The year 2019 was marked by our participation in an international conference. The event is dedicated to electromechanical and energy systems. The acronym of this prestigious event is SIELMEN. The edition took place between October 10 and 12, 2019. The location was the city of Chisinau in the Republic of Moldova. Our institute had an extremely consistent presence there. Our experts supported scientific works of great technical value. The exchange of experience with other specialists is very beneficial. We are happy to collaborate with partners from the Republic of Moldova. We develop modern solutions for the current energy industry. Electrical engineering requires innovation and a lot of dedication.
Diploma of excellence for the institute's staff
The efforts of our team have been recognized at the highest level. The ICMET Craiova collective has received a new important distinction. It is a diploma of excellence awarded by the organizers. It bears the name of the famous Romanian engineer Dimitrie Leonida. The award rewards the remarkable contributions made to Romanian electrotechnical research. The jury also appreciated the dissemination of these results for the first time. The presentation of the papers in the conference plenary attracted the attention of the public. We are deeply honored by this appreciation coming from the academic environment. The work in our laboratories generates visible and applicable results. We will continue to proudly represent national scientific research.

Eight technical papers presented internationally
Our delegation presented a record number of papers. We held eight presentations in front of the specialists present in Chisinau. Each paper addressed current and extremely complex topics. Our young researchers presented innovative and courageous ideas. We received a participation diploma for each paper. These documents certify the high level of our technical expertise. The topics included predictive systems and sensorless control. Power factor correction in networks was also discussed. We presented new methods for determining dielectric voltages. Our investments in people and equipment speak for themselves today. All these solutions increase the efficiency and safety of vital energy equipment.
