Power Quality Monitoring System Installed in Bailesti City

National Institute for Research, Development and Testing for Electrotechnics – ICMET Craiova developed, within the energy efficiency laboratory, in partnership with ICEMENERG – Bucharest Branch, a system for monitoring electrical energy consumption and analyzing energy quality, with application in public lighting.

The system aims to achieve the objective assumed by the European Union regarding reducing energy consumption by 20% by 2020. The associated research and development activity was carried out within the framework of sectoral project 16:

„"Equipment for monitoring electricity consumption in industry and public lighting"”

The contracting authority of the project was Ministry of Economy, Trade and Business Environment.
