Project objectives and innovation
Active filters command
The main objective is the development of embedded computing and control systems. The target is the compensation parameters of harmonics in polluted electrical networks. We are developing an intelligent infrastructure dedicated to the control of modern active filters.
We create a core database with precise input values. We develop a design software package through advanced modeling. We create a control platform with DSP processors for filters. These automatically adapt to the parameters of the monitored power network.
Collaboration and continuous improvement
- We are increasing the quality and performance level of the consortium's research activities.
- We are developing the entire scientific infrastructure at the national level in a balanced manner.
- We eliminate the technological disparities between economic development regions.
- We are developing a common research base with high-performance network analyzers.
- We meet European requirements in energy efficiency and digital development.

Technical impact and social perspective
Clear technical and scientific advantages
The scientific impact is highlighted by the advanced algorithms proposed for digital control in industry. We perfectly adapt the courses in the technical faculties to the new realities. We efficiently prepare future engineers for the development of solutions at the required European technological level. We ensure the development of an extremely strong material base internally and academically.
Beneficial effects among companies
Economic agents manufacturing static converters become much stronger and more efficient. Small and medium-sized companies can easily switch to mass production of active filters. They immediately become more competitive on the wider market of the entire European Union.
The impact on the environment will be visible as a natural consequence of the measures taken. The reduction of harmonic pollution implicitly leads to the reduction of emissions specific to the circulation of uncontrolled currents. Network safety reaches absolute levels of reliability for all major consumers.
